Below Are The Eight Steps To Writing An Academic Article

1. Choose The Subject
What is the focus of subject? Why the subject is important? Who will be interested in the subject?
2. Choose A Journal
Which journals will be interested in the subject - according to their mission and scope?
Which journals have editors and readers who will be willing to read this?
3. Check The Journal
Download four articles from last four journals that could be in literature review.
If it is not possible then select another journal.

Answer These Questions
What is the focus of the article?
How it is relevent to the audience?
What are more relevent broader debates, what possition will the article take on them and how does it will develop them?
How will the article relate to the conversation in the journal?
Are the findings convincing? Why should readers trust the findings?
Why is that important for the readers?
Write An Abstract Including These Elements
- Locate paper in relation to larger debates and identify perspective.
- Focus on issues, questions, problems to be examined and explored.
- Anchor the argument by outlining the research, sample and analysis.
- Report major findings relevent to argument.
